If you’re staying in or near the Medina, the Dar Si Said Museum is best accessed on foot. Wander through the vibrant streets, soaking in the sights and sounds of historic Marrakech, until you reach Riad Zitoun Jdid, where the museum is a prominent feature.
Taxis are a convenient and affordable option in Marrakech. Ask the driver to take you to the Dar Si Said Museum or Riad Zitoun Jdid. It’s well-known among locals, so finding it should be straightforward. Always agree on the fare before beginning your journey to avoid any confusion.
While there is no direct bus service that stops at the museum, several bus lines stop near Jemaa el-Fnaa square, which is just a short walk from the museum. From there, head south into the Medina, following signs for Riad Zitoun Jdid.
Driving in the Medina is not recommended due to narrow and crowded streets. If you are coming by car, it’s best to park at one of the public parking areas outside the Medina, such as the parking at Koutoubia Mosque, and walk or take a taxi from there to the museum.
